I put a counter on my blog on Friday, coz I was wondering if other people were looking at it, and got rather a shock.
8 people have looked at it in the last 3 days! I know my friend Rohan popped in, and also Akiko, coz she left a comment. Hello Sheila?

I'd be really happy if what I'm writing helps other people but please do remember that I'm only learning, so no guarantees that what I'm writing is correct! And I AM writing for myself. I don't want to tie myself in knots when I'm writing an entry, trying to think of the best way to explain something in case there is an audience - tho i'm happy to explain if you ask. I have a didactic streak a mile wide.

I just know I'm going to think of some theory and get all excited, and write about it here, and it's actually total bollocks.

I started this blog so I could show my non-calligrapher friend Sally the work I was doing, and then found that I was enjoying charting my progress and writing up notes. I'm a firm believer in Monkey hear, Monkey forget, Monkey See, Monkey Remember, Monkey Do, Monkey Understand. So Monkey See is this blog, in writing the notes.
