Yowsers!

I do want a copy of the book, but I don't think I'd pay this much for it!

It's down to $210 for the hardback now (and only $21 for the paperback).

I watched the price jump around from $30 odd to $70 over the months, but this is ridiculous!

I'm not making it up - that's a direct copy and paste! I made it, and sent it to a friend a few weeks ago.

$1400 when I looked! You could buy a car for that.

Don't even think about it! Seriously, I am almost positive that the V&A are doing(or have very recently done)a reprint with a slightly different cover. (heard through one or another grapevine!) That's why unscrupulous sellers are trying to make a fast buck because this cover is out of print.

Oh no way I would!

i just put it up for shock value!

That's an interesting tidbit about a reprint - thanks.

Saw the softcover - it had a different cover as well. I've only ever seen the back of that pink dress.

If the paperback is only $21, you're in, right??=)

At the time when it was $959, that was the only copy available!

I've put it up more as a 'funny item' more than anything else. How people can try and take advantage.
