Sitting up for a bit, looking at http://www.theessamplaire.com/
I'd like to do
http://www.theessamplaire.com/browse.php/detail/337
Hannah Thornbush (better pic at http://www.mfa.org/collections/search_art.asp?recview=true&id=116933)
Jeanne of Just String http://juststring.blogspot.com/ has just started this one.
I'd also like to do the Lydia Trump sampler from the 18thC http://www.theessamplaire.com/browse.php/detail/263
and the Ann Marsh Pin Pillow http://www.theessamplaire.com/browse.php/detail/262
although I'd want to organize to buy my materials seperately (here in Australia) because $US124) is one heck of a lot to pay for a 5" by 6" piece kit. (that isn't even goldwork!)
Their Gilt Sylke Twist is only $18 and they have the new colours. Gold metal/gold metal range and prices worth checking out too. Never seen Elizabethan Twist on a spindle before!
I've been doing some of the vine on my sampler - I'll take a photo soon. It's a good simple thing for me to do atm - tho in a week or so I'll run out of bits I can do.
